10 Things you will experience during a Spiritual Awakening!

Spiritual awakening can be a series of highs, lows and in-betweens. Having gone through it myself, I know just how tough, daunting, crazy, exciting, wonderful, confusing yet liberating a #spiritual #awakening can really be. Going from a "normal" parental and societal way of doing things, to being thrown into the deep end of an unknown territory of change, growth, forward motion and shedding can be extremely painful and rewarding at the same time. It's an odd concept to explain to those who haven't experienced it, but you also come to the understanding that not every soul chose to come to earth in order to experience it anyway! We are all here for different purposes, and like it or not at the time, this is what you pre-destined for yourself before embarking upon your journey on earth. That knowing and understanding will come in due time, for now, here are 10 things you will experience during your spiritual awakening:

Feeling Like a Crazy Person? You are not alone!

1. Not everyone around you will understand, most of the time they won’t. Family, friends, people you've known for years just wont get it! This is simply because the journey is yours and yours alone. The experience is for you, and was divinely destined by your soul before you came to earth. As hard to believe as it may be, you chose this, and you orchestrated it the exact way with the exact people that it is happening around.

2. Your whole perspective on life will change. The way you live, the way you do things, the way you eat, the way you laugh, the way you view your surroundings and the way you hold yourself responsible and accountable for the world around you will be much more #conscious then ever before.

3. You will lose a lot of “friends”. People who are out of #alignment with your #energy will fall away one by one, and it will feel awful at face value. However, once you come to the understanding that these are the same people that were holding you back from reaching your highest potential in this life time, you will be glad it worked out the way it did.

4. You will attract new friends and soul family who are in alignment with your #vibrational #frequency and will help elevate you to the next stages along your journey toward spiritual maturity and vice versa.

5. You will gain a new found love and understanding for all beings on planet earth and will not limit yourself to loving only humans. You will understand that each species plays an integral part in the world and we are fortunate to have them all among us. Just remember, without something as little as a bee, we’re all pretty much screwed!

6. The more you resist the change and transformation, the stronger the soul urge and calling will get for you to step out of what no longer serves you, and step into your wholeness.

7. You will most likely experience the #darkknight of the soul, this is an important and highly necessary part of the process, as without darkness we are not able to see our own light. We must be able to see our own shadows in order to heal them so that we can fully step into our #authenticity.

It truly is a miracle, a blessing within each lesson!

8. You will need to learn how to heal yourself in the process, whatever works for you will find it's way to you and keep knocking at your door until you embrace it in order to heal yourself. An example of healing methods could be: Spending time in nature, meditation, energy healing/clearing, yoga, reiki, mindfulness, conscious awareness, changing your diet etc. Whatever works for you at the time is what is best for you at the time. There is no rush on the path to the highest self.

9. You will start to realise your true power, the laws of energy and attraction and how you are your biggest asset or liability depending on your own thoughts, beliefs and actions. This life is yours and everything that happens to you is a mirror of your own inner state of being. You will become more #mindful of the energy you put out into the world as like attracts like.

10. Your soul will bring you closer and closer to your #purpose on earth in this lifetime. You will be elevated every step of the way, more in tune with yourself and other dimensions, more in communication with the universe, your guides and angels. Once you have gone inward and healed enough wounding you will be able to tap into your soul consciousness and use your intuition as a compass to guide you on your journey through life; with a very distinct inner knowing of who, and what you truly are.
