Panch Mukhi Rudraaksh Beads
 
The Rudraksh Bead is commonly known for it's biomedical properties in assisting with stress, hypertension, blood pressure, and fights all types of contaminations. When held above a glass of water, if the Rudraksh Mala spins clock wise, the waters is safe and pure for consumption. However, if the Mala spins counter clock wise, the water is contaminated and should not be consumed. This powerful Mala of 108 Rudraksh beads represents the unity of the elements, the sun, moon and earth. According to Ayurveda, there are 108 pressure points in the body, where consciousness and flesh intersect to give life to the living being. This powerful Mala can assist you tremendously in your day to day functioning especially for those who are highly sensitive and receptive to energies. 
 
Directions: 
Simply place around the neck as a protective mechanism and shield against negative energies. It is advised to wear this Mala around the neck once you have chanted using your favourite mantra 108 times after your morning shower/prayer/meditation time. 
 
To utilise the Mala during meditative practice, simply sit in Sukh Asana (Comfortable seated positon with legs crossed), place your left palm in Gyana Mudra (thumb and pointer fingers touching together whilst all other fingers are straight) facing upwards on top of your left knee/thigh area. Utilise your right hand to work your way through the beads whilst chanting. A common method is to place the Mala on top of the ring finger and utilise the thumb to move between the beads as you chant each mantra.
